InBetween is pleased to announce the appointment of Torsten Blümel as the company’s new Chief Operations Officer.

Torsten Blümel joins InBetween with a wealth of experience and expertise, having previously served as the Managing Director of brickfox and currently holding the position of COO at InBetween Deutschland GmbH. During his tenure at brickfox, he successfully scaled operations and drove growth for the company.
As InBetween’s new COO, Blümel will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, driving growth and innovation, and ensuring the company continues to deliver high-quality software solutions to its customers.

- Torsten, what is your management style?
Working on an equal footing with all team members – characterized by trust and confidence – with the aim of becoming even better together.
- If you could have any superpower to help you manage operations, what would it be and why?
Time jumps would be great to make even better decisions in retrospect.
- What’s your magic trick to handle quick decisions under pressure? Keep calm and still take a step back to better assess the situation, then make a quick decision – there is no 100% certainty – 80% is enough for good decisions.
- What’s your favorite productivity hack or time-saving tip that you’ve discovered in your career?
I love the Eisenhower Matrix – it’s ingenious and simple at the same time.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received about leadership or management?
Trust in the strengths of the team – you cannot decide or solve everything alone.
- What skills or qualities do you think are essential for a successful COO?
Keeping a cool head, even when everything around you is going crazy.
